Ask a librarian

We’re here to help whenever you need to access the right information for your research, discover reliable sources, or make the most effective use of library resources.
As part of the Mustafa İnan Library’s Research Support services, we provide assistance to all ITU members—from students to faculty—at every stage of their research.
You can visit the reference desk on the ground floor to get information about library resources and services, discover appropriate databases and information sources for your research, conduct a literature review, or consult with us on any issues you encounter during your research process. If you prefer, you can also reach us through our electronic communication channels.

How can we help you?

•    Explore library resources: We provide guidance to help you make the most of books, e-books, journals, databases, and other information resources.
•    Develop your research skills: We offer individual and group training sessions on the effective use of library resources, information literacy, and research processes.
•    Let us support your literature review: We provide expert support to help you find sources relevant to your research topic and conduct your literature review more effectively.
•    Let’s solve your research-related questions together: We guide you through challenges you may face while finding sources, using databases, or conducting research.
•    Join our training sessions and events: We organize national and international training sessions, meetings, seminars, and writing workshops across the university.
•    Stay in touch with our librarians: You can always consult us if you have any questions related to your research.

Whether on or off campus, we’re here to support you at every stage of your research.
