Reference librarians provide library users with direction to library materials, advice on library collections and services, and expertise on multiple kinds of information from multiple sources.
Reference librarians;

Assist the researcher on his/her research by providing in-depth reference service and consultation and guides the researcher with relevant reserach tools and methods for efficient access to information,

Organize seminars and training programmes for the promotion of library sources and efficient use of these sources,

Take active role in providing training and orientation programmes in order to create consciousness within the proper use of the library.
