As part of the PATTERN project, funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe program and partnered with the Izmir Institute of Technology (İYTE) Library, a one-day EU-certified training course titled “Strengthening Research from Open Access to Data Management” will be held at Istanbul Technical University to transform your career.

What is PATTERN? PATTERN is a coordination and support project that aims to promote Open and Responsible Research and Innovation practices by developing educational activities for researchers at every stage of their careers.
Purpose and Scope of Training: In the rapidly evolving academic and technological world, mastering Open Science practices and acquiring effective research data management skills is now a necessity for all researchers. This training aims to equip you with these critical competencies:
• You will gain in-depth knowledge about Open Access and Open Science concepts,
• You will receive comprehensive information on Research Data Management (RDM),
• You will develop practical skills in areas such as preparing a Data Management Plan (DMP).
By the end of the training, you will have acquired up-to-date competencies that will directly impact not only the quality of your individual research but also the success of your large-scale projects.
Participation in the training is limited to 40 people.
