Dear Members of Istanbul Technical University,

Renovation work on the ITU Libraries automation system infrastructure has been ongoing for some time. The new system will be launched on Monday, February 2, 2026.
With the transition to the new system, all library users will need to create a new password/PIN to log in to the system.

Users can follow these steps to create a password:

1) Go to https://katalog.kutuphane.itu.edu.tr/client/en_US

2) On the page that opens, click the Login link in the menu.


3) In the user login window that opens, click the Forgot My Password link at the bottom.

4) In the window that opens, enter your ITU student/registration number in the text box labeled “Username” and then click the “Confirm” button.

5) Click on the “Create Password” link sent to your registered email address.

6) After clicking on the password creation link, enter your ITU student/registration number in the username field, your new password in the next field, and confirm your new password in the “Confirm your new password” field on the page that opens.

7) Finally, click on the Update button to complete the password creation process.
