Subscription to the American Meteorological Society (AMS) Database, one of the world's leading scientific organizations in the field of atmospheric and related sciences, has been initiated as of 2026.  Detailed information about access and the agreement can be found below. 

The American Meteorological Society (AMS) publishes peer-reviewed, high-impact scientific journals in fields such as climate, meteorology, ocean science, hydro-meteorology, and the societal impacts of extreme weather events, with a primary focus on atmospheric, oceanic, and hydrological sciences.

The American Meteorological Society (AMS) has signed a corporate Read & Publish Agreement covering all AMS journals, including the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society (BAMS), as part of its subscription agreement.

Under the Read & Publish Agreement:

• Unlimited publication rights are granted in all journals.
• No APC fee will be charged.
• Our researchers must use the itu.edu.tr domain name and list ITU as a link in the final published version of the accepted article for the agreement to be valid.
• The author must be the ITU-affiliated “corresponding author.”
• All articles published under this agreement will be made openly accessible after publication under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0 license).
